Meet the maestro
An established name in the South Indian entertainment industry, Nadirshah is a multi-faceted artist whose primary arena of activity is the world of movies. In a career spanning over four decades, he has made his mark as a Malayalam film director, singer, lyricist, composer and actor with some notable character roles to his credit. He became a popular household name quite early on, bringing a smile to millions of lips with his prowess as a mimicry artist, ace comedian, and endearing television host.

Responding to the controversy kicked up by some vested interests over the name of his upcoming release movie Eesho, Nadirshah said, “We have no intention of hurting our brothers’ feelings. The title will not be changed. The slogan ‘Not from the Bible’ will, however, be eliminated. Our cameraman, Robby Varghese, came up with the title. The story has nothing to do with Jesus, and Eesho is the name of the main character. As a result, we’ll keep the title.”
Actor Jayasurya will reunite with filmmaker Nadirshah after five years for a new feature film. The movie is being produced by actor Arun Narayan’s production business. The director of photography is Roby Varghese Raj (of Love Action Drama and The Great Father fame). It was announced earlier by the team that Sujith Vaassudev was to be the DOP.
Actor-producer Dileep, wife Kavya Madhavan, and daughter Meenakshi were recently spotted at filmmaker Nadirshah’s daughter Aysha’s wedding. Meenakshi and Aysha, like their fathers Dileep and Nadirshah, are close friends. Aysha married Bilal, the son of businessman Latheef Uplas, in Kochi on 10th February 2021.
